Zachary Pryor's Unique Jewelry Is Love At First Sight

New York artist Jesse Utt travels to various spaces to showcase a spunky and shameless collection of wall-hanging artwork -- and makes jewelry-making look like child's play. Jimmy Choo For H&M Is Almost Here!

Finally, the day is almost here! The Jimmy Choo collection is the first time H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand and we think it's a pretty fabulous brand to go for on a first try! And it sounds like quite a bit of work went into making this happen. According to Tamara Mellon, the founder and president of Jimmy Choo, "It was a challenge for us to create high-quality pieces at an H&M price point." We believe it! And since the line is more than just shoes and accessories, it will definitely be different from the traditional Jimmy Choo line. We're interested to see how the line fares for H&M. We think it will be hugely popular (we hear they're giving out wristbands for opening day!), but have to wonder if it will cheapen the Jimmy Choo brand as a whole. Clearly Mellon doesn't think so, or we're sure she wouldn't have agreed to the collaboration. She said, "It was H&M's idea to [do clothes], and as soon as they said it, I really wanted to do it." Project Runway Alum Jerell Scott Launches His Fall Collection With Macy Gray!

Don't you just love seeing Project Runway castoffs rise from the ashes and really do something with their talent? We've seen plenty of Christian Siriano in the fashion week circuit, and even some strange Santino Rice cameos on various reality shows.. but now it's Jerell Scott's turn. The season 5 veteran launched his Fall 2009 collection at One Take Studio in downtown LA this past weekend over drinks and hors d'oeuvres... and an opening performance by Macy Gray! The intimate venue provided guests with an up-close look at the collection, including an accompanying photo exhibit by E Leon Myers and even an exclusive sneak preview at his upcoming Spring 2010 line. Inspired by indigenous people all over the world, the collection boasted flowing fabrics, bold prints and an undeniable tribal energy that foreshadowed many innovative and promising things to come from the designer! When Manolo Blahnik uses words like "exquisite, "divine," and "perfect" to describe your shoe designs, you know you're on the up and up (and not just in terms of heel height). That's exactly where designer Julia Lundsten is going with her line Finsk. Launched in 2004, her collection of crazy designs and quirky, sculptural heels has her dubbed as the Eames of footwear. While attending London's Royal College of Art she won the prestigious Manolo Blahnik Award 2 years in a row. Her inspiration from architecture and furniture is visible in the details of her shoes. Her love of furniture design extends to her way of thinking too -- considering the heel and the sole as the chair's legs and the upper as the seat, her shoes always seem to cradle the foot perfectly. With an unconventional style, the pumps, ankle booties, and boots all feature heels hand-carved from sustainable hard woods from Brazil. If that doesn't get you walking tall, I don't know what will! We're all about a hot recession-friendly designer collabo, and in tough times like these, we're definitely not the only ones! In honor of Charlotte Ronson's new line for JC Penney, "I Heart Ronson," celebs and socialites alike gathered at NYC's Lighthouse for barbeque fare, beach volleyball, and killer dance tracks, thanks to the designer's famous DJ siblings, Mark and Samantha. The collection's fall line is said to include lots of fun florals and floaty blouses with on emphasis on flirty low-maintenance style. And while the designer and her wardrobe were naturally the focus of the evening, plenty of stylish stars were present to help share the spotlight. Mischa Barton and Alexa Chung were among some of the launch celebration's fashionable attendees, decked out in their favorite Ronson duds. Personally, I'm so excited that "Mad Men" has started up again. Aside from the great plotlines, the show acts as a beautiful reminder of what I love about vintage dresses -- the idea that we should dress for every occasion. Okay, I realize that it's just a TV show, but my grandmother would say that it's how she lived her life -- in style. Maybe it runs in the family. Anyway, as much as I like vintage dresses, sometimes I want the modern equivalent: sexy, well-presented, yet with immaculate details. Which Designer Demonstrated The Best Personal Style At "The September Issue" Premiere?

This past Wednesday night, New York's Museum of Modern Art was abuzz with some of the world's most chic elite as they mingled at the NYC premiere of The September Issue. The film, which hits theaters on Friday, documents the inner workings of Anna Wintour and her Vogue team as they slave over the release of the hugely-anticipated annual Fall issue of the fashion bible. To celebrate the movie's release, style icons of Hollywood and the design industry alike graced the red carpet, and although it's normally their clothing that fights for the attention of the cameras, the designers themselves embraced the limelight in person to honor the occasion. Among some of the fashion favorites in attendance were Carolina Herrera (hand-in-hand with Oscar de la Renta), the always-polished Vera Wang, and Zac Posen, who didn't hesitate to throw a few "top model" poses in the paparazzi direction. Whoever thought sequins couldn't be minimalist never came across the designs of Sophie Hulme! Directly out of design school, the Brit started her own line for Fall '08. After a few seasons of gaining steam, her wares are now sold around the world and online at Revolve Clothing. The line fuses together masculine, minimalist cuts with some girly flash. Military-style anoraks and bomber jackets are dripping in sequins that totally up their glamour factor. The collection is punctuated with cool utilitarian accessories as well. Quilted backpacks and sequined harnesses as well some limited edition jewelry add to the "boyish with flair" charm of the line.
