Thanks to Denim of Virtue, the time has never been better to embrace this inner desire. This rock star image was the first thing that came to mind upon viewing the Denim of Virtue collection. An array of distressed jean selections, each one was more stage-worthy than the next. The denim even comes in varying levels of distressing, catering to a wide variety of consumers. There's the subtle collection, boasting boyfriend, skinny and wide-leg jeans with only a hint of wear-and-tear. The second is the moderate collection, where skinny jeans show more tailored signs of distress. And finally, there is the extreme, where 90s punk rears its head in the form of carefully placed holes that decorate skinny jeans. When you're done rockin' out, be sure to check out WhatsWear for more notable new brands!

As attractive as his artwork is on canvas, it's his Zachary Pryor accessories line that's so beguiling, we'd never want to take off. His earrings and necklaces resemble a scrapbook collage of trunk collectibles that are a perfect way to add crafty edge to your style. Metal chains, color contrast and charms all lend a hand in shaping the tasteful trinkets that have found their way to the necks and wrists of art-loving A-listers like Mary-Kate Olsen and Avril Lavigne. Jesse, under the trade name Zachary Pryor (a name that covertly pays homage to his grandmother and plays off a name that he could've been donned at birth) has made wearing art -- and making a statement -- easy. While his past works feature canvas-mimicking illustrations, his most recent follow either a more industrial style that is loud and evocative, or a fierce, whimsical style with bright feathers. The Jimmy Choo collection is the first time H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand and we think it's a pretty fabulous brand to go for on a first try! And it sounds like quite a bit of work went into making this happen. According to Tamara Mellon, the founder and president of Jimmy Choo, "It was a challenge for us to create high-quality pieces at an H&M price point." We believe it! And since the line is more than just shoes and accessories, it will definitely be different from the traditional Jimmy Choo line. We're interested to see how the line fares for H&M. We think it will be hugely popular (we hear they're giving out wristbands for opening day!), but have to wonder if it will cheapen the Jimmy Choo brand as a whole. Clearly Mellon doesn't think so, or we're sure she wouldn't have agreed to the collaboration. She said, "It was H&M's idea to [do clothes], and as soon as they said it, I really wanted to do it." It will definitely allow them to meet a whole new audience; that's for sure! Make sure to check it out when it arrives on November 14! Check back with Limelife for more news on designer collabos!

Launched in 2004, her collection of crazy designs and quirky, sculptural heels has her dubbed as the Eames of footwear. While attending London's Royal College of Art she won the prestigious Manolo Blahnik Award 2 years in a row. Her inspiration from architecture and furniture is visible in the details of her shoes. Her love of furniture design extends to her way of thinking too -- considering the heel and the sole as the chair's legs and the upper as the seat, her shoes always seem to cradle the foot perfectly. With an unconventional style, the pumps, ankle booties, and boots all feature heels hand-carved from sustainable hard woods from Brazil. If that doesn't get you walking tall, I don't know what will! Aside from the great plotlines, the show acts as a beautiful reminder of what I love about vintage dresses -- the idea that we should dress for every occasion. Okay, I realize that it's just a TV show, but my grandmother would say that it's how she lived her life -- in style. Maybe it runs in the family. Anyway, as much as I like vintage dresses, sometimes I want the modern equivalent: sexy, well-presented, yet with immaculate details. Montreal-based designer Valerie Dumaine perfectly quenches these cravings, with mid-century silhouettes with shorter hemlines and contemporary elements. Her new fall collection is available now, and with price points in the $125-$150 (US) range, you get unique dresses with a vintage modern twist. My favorites are the Cairo Tulip Dress, the Ines Pencil Skirt, and the Jean Pencil Dress! Once you're done browsing, don't forget to head over to The Coveted for more vintage fashion done modern!

The film, which hits theaters on Friday, documents the inner workings of Anna Wintour and her Vogue team as they slave over the release of the hugely-anticipated annual Fall issue of the fashion bible. To celebrate the movie's release, style icons of Hollywood and the design industry alike graced the red carpet, and although it's normally their clothing that fights for the attention of the cameras, the designers themselves embraced the limelight in person to honor the occasion. Among some of the fashion favorites in attendance were Carolina Herrera (hand-in-hand with Oscar de la Renta), the always-polished Vera Wang, and Zac Posen, who didn't hesitate to throw a few "top model" poses in the paparazzi direction. Vote below on which designer you think most stylishly held up the fort for the fashion industry! Photo Credit: PR Photos

The line fuses together masculine, minimalist cuts with some girly flash. Military-style anoraks and bomber jackets are dripping in sequins that totally up their glamour factor. The Japanese company, which has outposts in San Francisco and Palo Alto, features elegant lines which allow the structure of their pieces to speak for itself without the need for any unnecessary accoutrements. For the most part, Hideo concentrates on black, sturdy and durable - from their roll-on luggage sets to their shoulder bags and totes. Most of their options are black leather or black hard-case, though they do have a few pieces in red in addition to a few patterned pieces. If you're like me, you constantly find yourself buying and re-buying luggage every couple of years or so when your current set wears out. Investing in a piece of Hideo now is likely to ensure you can enjoy it for years to come!
