Makeup artists can seriously be magicians sometimes. They just whip out their bag of tricks, throw a bunch of stuff together, and all of a sudden you look like the most fabulous version of yourself. Have you ever tried to follow them step by step? It€™s almost impossible! Fortunately, I am now in the position where I get to meet the magicians themselves, and luckily for us, they€™re nicer than the real magicians and are more than willing to share their secrets.
One of the most troubling to me is how makeup artists always manage to hide the most hideous of under eye circles and blemishes, yet when I give it a try, and another try, and dab, smear, smudge layer upon layer of concealer on, I get nowhere! To combat my lack of cover-up skills, I solicited the help of Beauty.com makeup artist Tina Turnbow. According to Tina, the best ways to apply concealer are either with your finger or a firm pointed brush, and you should simply tap it on, not smear. €œUnder the eye area you can go a little lighter with the shade," she adds. "But not with blemishes, because then they€™ll stick out more.€ Here are Tina€™s Top 4 picks, guaranteed to keep you covered! 1) Best All Around Concealer:Amazing Cosmetics Concentrated Concealer, $402) Best For Discoloration:
