I don't know if it's my vivid imagination of how its orchid and Moroccan rose notes would smell on a warm summer night, or the exotic words used to describe frankincense and amber-based TOLU, but it gets my vote as the most fragrant! Jayne happens to be my middle name, so this perfume house gets extra points with me.

I like TOLU. I will vote for it. It has everything associated with nature: the flowers, the trees. Make you feel really refreshing and serene. TOLU also reminds me TOFU ( I know it is weird) and thus it gives me a sense of "being healthy" and go "green"!

Orris Noir sounds most fragrant to me because the main scent, Iris, is so dark and rich in color, it just must have a strong and beautiful smell. The base notes all sound wonderful to me as well! Incense, Myrrh and patchouli are 3 of my all-time favorite scents, they just smell very "royal" to me and have that great bite to them. Along with all the accompanying notes, it sounds like an amazing combination and a wonderful perfume!

I am absolutely entranced by Ormonde Jayne's Frangipani - it sounds as if it would be the most fragrant imaginable - as if I were in a tropical island getaway with my one true love! I have always loved frangipani, both the lush plumeria and the delectable desert! My husband gets totally turned on by the scent of jasmine, which is in this glorious perfume, and the tuberose absolutes will help temper our passions until we are alone, and not in public view! Ah, summer passions will last forever with Ormonde Jayne's Frangipani!

No matter who we are to the rest of the world, behind the closed doors of every woman is the "utterly hypnotic, unconventional and mysterious woody essence" of a seductive tigress just roaring to set free. May this animal inside us all be unleashed by the Ormonde Woman!

Ooh...I love, love, love their description of the Tolu collection! The words "orange blossom", "citrus notes and "amber- the scent's core" make me swoon just readign them. I'm not much of a dare-devil when it comes to scents. Citrusy green parfums work for me (and remind me of sunshine) and I just LOVE :x Love It! wearing them! Overall, I'm head-over-heels for Ormond Jayne's packaging and simple (yet somehow lux-seeming) logo. :x Love It!

With all the sumptious scents to choose from, I had a hard time just pin-pointing one! In the end, I have decided on Ormonde Woman. First, it is their signature scent for women, so I feel it encompasses the idea and image of Ormonde Jayne. The luxurious usage of Black Hemlock mixed with the sultry scents of violet and jasmine and other exotic flowers and woody accents make this perfume seem sexy and powerful. I think that this would be a great scent for an intelligent and confident woman and that is what Ormonde Jayne embodies.

I have to say I'm intrigued by the description of Ta'if. The word "rose" was the first thing I saw and immediately thought "there's one for my grandma" except I don't think my grandma prefers dusk and parties and the only thing "torrid" about my grandma is her passion for slot machines. Rose oil, freesia, orange flower & jasmine sounds like a combination capable of dancing the night away. Pink pepper, saffron and dates to add some spice and broom and amber to lend an exotic undertone; I have a feeling that's a scent that's a bit bold yet soft enough to soothe your soul. I love a scent that's daring and different with a little spice and softness; sounds like that's Ta'if.

Although the Sampaquita merited a close second (I'm half Filipina so the sampaguita is close to my heart, as the Philippine national flower), the Champaca scent sounds the most fragrant to me. After looking at the descriptions, it seems more delicate (described as "heavenly, creamy floral") and not as heavy as some of the others. I'm attracted to the more subtle scents (like the basmati rice and green tea notes), since the aromas of sandalwood and amber tend to overload my senses. The pink pepper also sounds like it would add an interesting twist to it.

I originally chose Ta'if as the Ormonde Jayne scent that seems most intriguing, due primarily to it's different name. I stuck with this choice because of the description of exotic flowers that is used. I love the scent of roses, as they signify being feminine and sexy to me! The sweet, classic scent of the rose is turned into a sultry, powerful scent with the saffron and pink pepper mixed with the woody, resin smells. I believe it to be the scent for a sophisticated and vibrant woman."

I would have to say, Champaca, first because I love the name, and I like magnolias and it kind of reminds me of champagne and who doesn't love that!!!

Frangipani ofcourse! Frangipani has a very special meaning for me. When I got married in the beautiful tropical Indian Ocean islands of the Seychelles, I was surprised that roses flown in would cost me 20 dollars each! So instead we spent the morning picking frangipani off the wild trees around the island, and wove them into my bouquet and garlands and decoration for the church as well as the centrepieces. The scent was so lovely! Till this day I love the delicate scent, and would love to have a perfume that evokes such happy memories!

I believe that Ormonde Woman would have to be my choice. Between the black hemlock, jasmine, amber and sandalwood, it sounds absolutely intoxicating. Seductive, mysterious, hypnotic.....all those things a woman wants to be.
