It shouldn€™t come as a surprise that designer Yves Saint Laurent is has been coined one of most influential figures in fashion. He€™s practically been a legend since he first took over the Dior house in 1957, to the day he launched his own line, Yves Saint Laurent, in 1962. His signature eye for cut and tailoring helped redefine the tuxedo suit for women and he€™s notorious for mixing masculinity and fantasy into evening and ready to wear. With his passing this weekend, at age 71, fashionistas everywhere are mourning the loss and paying homage to his stamp on fashion.
