Editor's Pick: Justin Tranter's Diamond Braille Jewelry

A few months ago we introduced you to the term €˜Garage Glam,€™ the hottest new underground trend, and got up close and personal with the fabulous diva that started it all- Semi Precious Weapons front-man Justin Tranter. In a short year and a half, Justin has racked up quite an impressive list of accomplishments. In addition to captivating fans from all walks of life with his sexually-charged onstage antics and unmatched sound, Justin collaborated with DKNY on an exclusive sneaker, found massive success in the jewelry market with a company that now includes 3 different collections- Precious Weapons (low-end), Fame (Mid-priced), and Fetty (high-end), and has been making national headlines thanks to a little lady named Kate Moss who can€™t get enough of the SPW sound and style.

In true Justin-fashion, thriving success has not compromised his garage-glam spirit and his collections remain at the forefront of cutting edge style and unmatched innovation. Case in point: his latest creation- a line of diamond Braille jewelry, with rings, necklaces, earrings ID bracelets and bangles set in polished and oxidized sterling silver with diamonds or crystal in Standard American Braille formation spelling out gorgeous words like, "Magnetic", "Try", "Love" and more.

So where does one come up with such an idea? Well Justin told Stylehive, "I always wanted to make jewelry that actually said something, but words on jewelry is so over done. One day while my band was touring, I was in a hotel ...below every sign was braille, after feeling the braille on a sign in the hallway it hit me!!! Diamond Braille!!! The minute I got back to NYC, I figured out how to make it happen. The diamond braille bangles at Barneys have been selling so well that I knew I needed to make it in a lower price point. That is how the Fame line came to be."

The Fetty high-end collection which is all sterling silver, 14K Gold and diamonds, has been getting a serious amount of attention and is available at every Barneys and Barneys COOP in the country. Kate Moss is a huge fan and even sent her new friend, England's 19 year old Princess Beatrice, on a shopping trip to Barneys NY on Madison where Princess B bough $3,000 worth of goods from the line.
