It's really strange to go out now and see that Converse Chuck Taylor high-tops are still being worn by school kids. I think of Chucks as the shoe that sort of defined Generation X, and to see that they're still so popular is kind of nice. Chucks are great because not only do they look cool, they can be adapted to go with just about any casual outfit, and to say that they're comfortable is the understatement of the century. You even see some people pushing the look to the limit, wearing their Chucks with formal wear. There's really no end to what you can do with these shoes. The good thing is that these days, you can get Converse Chucks in all the standard colors, but also in some interesting new styles. So whether you're into classic looks, or rule breaking, there will always be a pair of Chucks out there for you.
