At age 26, handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff has achieved a level of acclaim and success that is the designer's equivalent to the American Dream, I mean, what greater validation is there for a designer than the knowledge that your handbags are on virtually every 'It Girl's' must-have list? While best known for her handbag collections, Rebecca actually started out as a clothing designer and it wasn't until her good friend, actress Jenna Elfman, asked her to design a bag for an upcoming movie that the 'morning after' bag was born. Word of mouth quickly spread about Rebecca's innovative handbags that combine fabulousness with functionality and she became an instant hit among regular women and celebrities alike, with an impressive list of A-list fans including style mavens like Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Lauren Conrad, Marissa Tomei, Hilary Duff, Cameron Diaz, Laura Prepon, Rachel Bilson, Vanessa Minnillo, and Catherine Bell just to name a few.
