Daily Obsesh - Cracked Heart Compact by Marc Jacobs

My favorite part of the Marc by Marc Jacobs store is perusing the special items section. There are plenty of cute items in a super affordable price range. For a student like me who's pretty much always on a tight budget it's nice to know that high end designers like Marc Jacobs don't forget about the little people, and still create items that I can snatch up without breaking the bank. Sometimes, all it takes is a little pick-me-up during the week to make everything better. That's why when I found this cracked heart compact mirror from Marc by Marc Jacobs I couldn't help but smile. 5 dollars and an endearing design? Count me in! This mirror will make all your worries disappear with its quirky cartoony design and cute imitation crack on the top. How can you not love these specialty items? Quite honestly, they're adorable.

Daring To Be Different With Collina Strada's Bag Line

Sometimes you just have to make a statement. I admire ladies who break away from the norm and venture into unknown territory whether it be with shoes, clothes, or bags. Are you looking to make a statement this summer? Well, I've found the label for you. Collina Strada has created beautiful pieces that capture the essence of individuality and modernity. The bags from this designer are so refreshingly different from most pieces out there right now! For instance, the leather handbags are designed with architectural bars that are reminiscent of Native American artwork without all the turquoise hardware thrown in your face. The simplicity of these purses makes them sophisticated and still unique enough to be daring. This line of bags is worth taking a look at, because there's really no way to describe these bags except as necessary and unique additions to your wardrobe.

Label Love: Made Her Think

As I get older I've come to realize the importance of nice jewelry. Of course, there's still a time and place for cheap and flashy pieces, but really, a lady needs some nice stuff! I've recently fallen head over heels for the pieces designed by label Made Her Think. The name alone is really cool, and the jewelry is all so unique! I am a huge fan of brushed metallics and this line of jewelry is full of beautiful pieces that are great quality without a huge price tag. My favorite piece is the Silver Foil Spike Rhinestone Ring. It has a cartoony appeal, but the colors are sophisticated enough to make them great for work or play... besides, the ring just really stands out when you wear it! If you're feeling a little more risque then step it up with the Exhaust Pipe Bracelet. Hard core fashion for all those tough chicks out there, this bracelet is truly an eye-catcher. I'm so glad to have discovered Made Her Think and all the beautiful pieces that need to be mine!

Label Love: Tasteful Tie Dye From Young, Fabulous & Broke!

Heidi Cornell's LA-based brand Young, Fabulous, & Broke proves that there isn't much in a brand's name, really. After all, while her most notable clientele are certainly young and fabulous, they're definitely not broke, and if they were they definitely wouldn't be indulging in the brand's high-end takes on comfy basics! With young Hollywood starlets like Megan Fox, Blake Lively, and Sophia Bush who rely on YFB for their everyday go-to tees, tanks, cardigans, loungewear, and casual coffee date digs, Heidi and her YFB crew are hardly broke either, but show that everyday LA style is about being laid-back and feeling comfortable while still looking like a million bucks with form-flattering fits and fabrics, and vibrant fun colors that won't make you look like you just rolled out of bed. Shoe Of The Week: Sam Edelman Queenie

Zippers? Check. Open toe'd? Check. Attitude? Check. This shoe has it all. Get ready to kick some serious butt in these Sam Edelman Queenie suede heels. Wear these to work and keep them on when you leave for happy hour afterwards. These shoes are guaranteed to make any outfit extra sexy. As you walk, the glint of the patent leather heel will have people doing a double-take, and while they're down there staring at your shoes, mouths will drop as the sexy lace-up front is revealed. I don't think there's anything not to love about this shoe, with its modern spin on a classic style. It's got great form with a nice 4.5 inch heel and its suede, which means it's subdued just enough for all your coworkers to envy you during the workday. I'm seriously starting to doubt if I can live without these in my closet. Go get a great pedicure ASAP because these shoes are going to be worth showing off.

Label Love: Lust-Worthy Shoes by Moschino Cheap & Chic

I've always been drawn to the quirky style of shoes created by Italian fashion house Moschino Cheap & Chic. Moschino ties in a sophisticated look without losing that sense of carefree fun which, in my opinion, is essential to a great pair of shoes. I love cute designs just as much as the next girl, and this label emphasises the fact that shoes are meant to be feminine and eye catching. When I look at a pair of Cheap & Chics I'm always left lusting for more. Moschino is all about individuality and innovative fun, so your personality really shines through with this design style. Shoes can reach sky high prices, but luckily this label is on the cheaper end as far as designer labels go. There are a range of shoes for under $350 dollars, and yes, that is a splurge for a lot of people, but the quality and uniqueness of this brand will definitely keep the items in constant use in your wardrobe. Moschino shoes are more than just something to walk around in; they're art in heel form.

Label Love: BRVTVS Boasts Fancy Friendship Bracelets For All!

If I had a dollar for every time I became frustrated in my search for a particular pair of shoes, piece of jewelry, or statement-making dress and just wished I could start my own line and design my own, I probably wouldn't have quite enough money to actually do it, but I'd probably be pretty darn close! But funding problems aside, that's just what designer Caroline Ventura did when she just couldn't find the kind of jewelry she wanted to wear -- she started BRVTVS, her very own jewelry brand that filled the void for the pieces she specializes in. The result is delicate gold chains and gold-and-silk bracelets and necklaces -- which she describes as "fancy friendship bracelets" -- that she hand-makes herself (and even hand-writes a thank-you note to go with it!). If the brand is a bit too pricey for you, don't fret -- Ventura has big plans for a more modestly priced next collection featuring nautical-inspired string and bead bracelets if those are more up your alley! Until then, check out BRVTVS' most recent collection in the slideshow!

Label Love: Miss Ferriday's Lacy Lingerie-Inspired Pieces

Based on just her latest lingerie-inspired, ultra-feminine Miss Ferriday collection, it's hard to imagine that founder Ann Ferriday got her big break by hand-sewing leather stage outfits for David Bowie and Elton John. But despite the fact that she first began sewing her own Barbie outfits and creating looks for flamboyant male music acts, her line is undoubtedly mature, sexy, and soft yet edgy. With a limited muted color palette and no florals, tribal print, or beaded embellishment in sight, the Summer 2010 collection is refreshingly summery in that it isn't pointedly or obnoxiously summery. Instead, it's mysterious and alluring with its lacy tunics, tanks, crop tops, and minidresses that are pretty without looking frou-frou, suggestive without being revealing, and sheer without verging on tacky. Shoe of the Week: Jeffrey Campbell "Meow" Lace Ups

Head turners. That's what shoes should be. High heels get everybody looking, but what's really impressive is a great pair of oxfords that grab everyone's attention. Jeffrey Campbell has perfected the art of tasteful, stylish shoes and the Meow oxford lace up is no exception. Whimsical antique meets retro style with these floral print shoes. What I love most about these oxfords are the little details, like leather laces and a hint of a wedge. Everything about this shoe is fun! Can you really imagine a better way to strut down the street than in a pair of lace up oxfords that are reminiscent of a spring day - antique style? I think not. I can see it now: these shoes with cigarette jeans and a panama hat. Did someone say €˜chic€™? Trés chic!

Bag of the Week: Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag

Who doesn't love a good bag? I'm always on the search for that special something to sling over my shoulder. I have finally found it, and boy does it have attitude. The bag that stole my heart? The Alexander Wang Diego bucket bag, it just screams unique. There's something so amazing about a purse that mixes girly with edgy, and the Diego has perfected the combination. The hardware hanging off this bag gives you the freedom to dress it up or dress it down. This bag transitions from daytime errands to nightlife parties effortlessly. There are pockets galore, so you can hide all kinds of tricks up your sleeve. Leather bags have been a basic accessory forever, but Alexander Wang has created something so unique that you'll fall in love with leather all over again.
