Good Style: Buy a Rwanda Path to Peace Basket

Fresh graphic designs and rich, saturated colors were all over the spring runways and now you can bring them into your home with these bold, vibrant baskets and bowls.

Macy's and Rwanda Path to Peace project have partnered up to sell hand-woven goods made by female genocide survivors from Rwanda. The colorful baskets are woven from 100% natural materials like banana leaves and papyrus and use all natural dye. Focused on trade not aid, the income from the baskets provides food, shelter, medical care, and other necessities for the weavers. The Rwanda handmade baskets retail for $35-$120 and are available exclusively at www.macys.com/rwanda. Check out the slideshow to see how you can make a difference.
