Bag of the Week- J. Crew Sequin Minaudiere

Need the perfect finishing touch to your carefully curated New Years Eve oufit? J. Crew's Sequin Minaudiere is the perfect candidate. We're obsessed with this vintage inspired bag, a steal at $79.99, it looks as though it could have been passed down from a favorite grandmother... Multicolored sequins ranging from pale silver to dove grey cover the small rectangular bag and are complimented by yellow gold hardware. Tuck the delicate chain link straps into the bag to wear as a clutch, or sling them over your shoulder to dance the night away. While a perfect bag for the holidays, we this bag won't be relegated to the closet after January 1. It's the perfect evening clutch, and even an unexpected accessory to a casual outfit of torn jeans, a white tee shirt and ballet flats.

Daily Obsesh - Marc by Marc Jacobs Lee Stripe Knee Socks

Tired of wearing your ubiquitous winter boots over jeans or tights day after day?

We've been seeing more and more girls mixing it up by pairing cute thigh or knee high socks with their boots whenever they dare to wear a dress or skirt in these colder months. We love this look! Chunky slouchy cable knit socks in neutral colors look great paired with more utilitarian styles and bright colors, and you can't go wrong with a brightly patterned socks with a little black skirt or grey sweater dress.

These Lee Stripe Socks from Marc by Marc Jacobs are the perfect pair to add some cheeky color to your outfit. We'd love to wear them slightly slouched with an ankle bootie or mid-calf flat boot and our favorite chunky black sweater dress, but can see them looking equally chic with any number of outfits. Tell us, how would you style them?

Shoe of the Week- Seychelle's Boogie Woogie Heel

These heels are made for dancing! With a unique braided leather upper, stacked heel and slingback-like straps, the Boogie Woogie Heel is like a chic version of huarache sandals. But unlike the casual huarache, these retro styled heels are made for getting down on the dance floor!

The rubber soles, low heel and breathable design will keep you comfortable for hours of dancing ... or shopping, lunching, working ... whatever strikes your fancy. Available in both a funky teal and rich whiskey brown, these heels would look great with swingy skirts and short flirty dresses, or just as well with cropped skinny jeans.

No matter what your sartorial style (or dance style) these shoes are sure to add a feminine, retro twist to your look as you boogie woogie the night away!

Daily Obsesh - I Heart Sunglasses

Thanks to appearances over the years on stylish lady Nicole Richie's face, Miu Miu and Luella runways, and the movie poster for Stanley Kubrik's Lolita, perhaps the chicest movie poster of all time, heart shaped glasses have been on our must-have list for some time. While we've had these sunglasses on our radar for years now, the versions we always seem to stumble upon are at street fairs and flea markets where the proportions aren't quite right, or the plastic and lenses look too cheap to be chic.

When we discovered the 'I Heart Sunglasses' on Nasty Gal, we knew we had finally found the perfect pair. The 'I Heart Sunglasses' are a great shade of lipstick red, and the oversized silhouette is perfect and flattering. These glasses are sure to turn heads, so give them the spotlight by keeping the rest of your outfit simple, like a white tee and ripped jeans, or sweet and feminine baby doll dress and ballet flats.

Daily Obsesh - 'Stolen Love' Faux Fur Stole

The minute we laid eyes upon Stolen Love's Faux Fur Stole, we were smitten. At the same time feminine and funky, a stole is a great alternative to the ubiquitous pashminas and scarves that the colder winter months make a necessity. Available in both light and dark brown, and a steal at $22, this faux fur stole would look great adding fur trim to almost any outfit. We can see this stole perfectly accessorizing a fancy holiday party gown or looking just as great as an unexpected addition to your everyday jeans and tee shirt. Add a little something extra to your stole, such as a gemstone studded brooch or funky vintage buttons, and you€™ll really be turning heads! Stolen Love isn€™t just a clever name, as this great accessory has certainly stolen our hearts!

Daily Obsesh - Orkney Mukluks

It may not officially be winter yet, but we're certainly in the winter state of mind! During the long winter months, nothing sounds much better than cuddling at home, snug under some blankets, with hot cocoa in hand and a chick flick on the television. Yes, it's the season to be snug, comfy and cuddly.

It's the time of year when running around the house barefoot just doesn't cut it, and we've been find ourselves in un-matching, not so cute socks much too often. It's seriously starting to cramp our loungewear style! Why splurge on the perfect pair of sweatpants without some cute socks to complete your outfit?!

We've found the perfect pair to keep our toes warm and our outfit stylish - the Orkney Mukluk by Eloise at Anthropologie. With the fair isle knit pattern and the ultra adorable pom pom ties, we definitely won't be relegating these winter wonders to the couch only. Paired with a cute skirt, oxfords and a sweater, these socks are adorable!

Shoe of the Week- Aldo Tauret Wedge

We spotted desert boots on fashionista's here and there over the summer, and the colder months certainly haven't slowed the velocity of this trend. No big surprise considering that the desert boot is basically a slouchy, rugged, 'borrowed from the boys' cousin to the insanely trendy oxford. We've been seeing the classic menswear suede lace-up interpreted for the girls in different ways - such as the classic flat coming in some not so classic colorways, some with staggeringly high platforms and heels, and others with feminine bow accents. But our favorite has to be the desert boot wedges, like the Aldo Tauret. The crepe wedge on the Tauret adds a feminine twist without losing the utilitarian soul (or should we say sole?) of the desert boot. Available in both beige and black, these wedges will look great paired with your winter sweaters and scarves and will carry you through to spring where they will look just as cute paired with a floral dress and jean jacket.

Daily Obsesh - Rococo Molten Lava Nail Polish

One of the best parts of the holiday season are all the festive holiday parties and the fun outfits us ladies get to wear to them! Whether it's a cocktail hour or company shindig, dressing for the holidays is all about the glitz, the glamour and the glitter.

However, it's easy to get caught up in the spirit of the season and overdo it just a little. Our rule of thumb is, if there is glitter on your dress, there shouldn't be glitter on your face. But your nails? Well, that's another story entirely.

This year, we€™re putting our red polishes on the shelf in favor of Rococo's Molten Lava nail polish. This liquid gold color is the perfect holiday shade to compliment your sequined duds and add a little sparkle to your LBD's. Better yet? We're keeping this polish on hand (pun most definitely intended) to use again during Summer 2011 ... we can€™t think of a better color to pair with our future tans!
