Coquette Keeps It Chic and Cozy With Sweater Coats!

It's definitely getting colder out there and I love the option of bundling up with a sweater coat. I love these Marled Funnel-Neck Sweater ($152) and this Long Cable-Knit Sweater Coat ($175) both at Banana Republic which look great belted. Need some help fighting off the colder weather, but want to still look like a fierce fashionista while doing it? There are so many cute styles out there so click on over to our friends at Coquette and see some of the seasons faves!

Audrey Tautou Wears The Chanel Cometes Star Pendant

I've had a few people ask me about the star necklace Audrey Tautou is wearing in the Chanel No. 5 print ad and TV commercial. She's wearing a piece from Chanel Fine Jewelry -- the Star Pendant in 18K white gold and diamonds from the constellation-inspired Comets collection. There's both a large and small version -- Audrey is wearing the large. Call or visit a Chanel boutique for prices, and don't forget to check out Coquette for more designer fashion finds!

Would You Wear Heart Print Tights? What About Polka Dots?

It's not just about colored tights this fall. Pick up a pair of colorful patterned tights with cute stripes, hearts, and lines. I love these V Stripe Light Nylon Tights ($14 at Urban Outfitters) and these All Over Heart Tights ($16 at Topshop). It's a great way to bring some fun to your wardrobe. Feather Report: New iPhone App To Help You Get Dressed!

Fashion + Weather = Feather. My friend Melisa of Feather Report and The Lil Bee has just launched the Feather Report iPhone app. Look to it as your own portable, personal style consultant. You'll never have to look out the window and wonder, "What am I gonna wear today?" It's rainy today in SF and this is the outfit that was picked out for me. I love it! What's great is that each of the items listed in the outfit for today are linked so you can purchase them directly from your iPhone. If I like today's outfit, I can easily save it to my favorites with a press of a button. I love to get exposed to new pieces of clothing and how to put them all together. Using a GPS weather tracker, Feather Report serves up a new outfit to your iPhone each day, based on your specific location. Outfits are categorized based on body types, occasions, and weather patterns. You can also search for outfits based on your individual needs such as Date Night, Out with the Girls, etc. If you're traveling, get weather forecasts for your upcoming trips. Sounds cool? Tory Burch's New Shades Channel A Little Hollywood Glamour

Your summer accessories may be hibernating for the time being, but that's no reason not to look forward to the next sunny season! Tory Burch is launching her new sunglasses line this month! The collection takes inspiration from such Hollywood icons as James Dean, Peter Fonda, Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Tortoise and olive green are key shades in the line and all sunglasses incorporate her signature logo design in an innovative way for each style. Keep on the lookout for these stylish sunglasses to hit the Tory Burch boutiques, web site, and select department stores worldwide! Hit up Coquette for more news on upcoming designer collections!

Coquette Has Her Eye On Bombako Headbands

It's no wonder why Gossip Girl brought headbands to the forefront once again, but these headbands by Bambako take them to a whole new level of sophistication. Details such as feathers, beading, and ornate ribbons make these a perfect compliment to any outfit without looking overly embellished or gaudy. For the Fall/Winter 2009 collection, designer Abigail Ricarte wanted to create pieces that were fun, strong, and ultra femme. "This season, I was really drawn to bold statement pieces by playing with different textures and heavy splashes of color in between. I wanted to appeal to a range of girls - from yuppies to hipsters," says Abigail. And given the variety of her collection, from the glitzy Night in Tunesia to the laidback feathered Oh Hey band, we can't imagine what type of girl wouldn't be able to find something she likes! Coquette Is Lovin' The Zipper Look!

Earlier in June I posted some cute outfits and accessories with zippers. Well the zipper trend is even stronger this fall, making its way to even more clothing and accessories. I love this Mason by Michelle Mason Zip Shirtdress ($407 at Shopbop) to pair over leggings or tights and this simple Loeffler Randall Double Zipper Top (On Sale for $120.40). Both say stylish without going over the edge in punk. As for accessories, these grey Ruffle Zipper Pumps are beyond adorable... and if you have any money left after splurging on all these cute finds, keep your change in this Colorblock Zipper Wallet! See more at Coquette!

The Perfect Little Jacket (For Under $100!)

I'm crushing for this BB Dakota Indigo Blue Marsh Jacket ($70 at chickdowntown.com). The jacket is a lightweight deep denim and the ruffles on the sleeve give the military look a much more softer feel. Pair it with a longer tee over skinnies (pants, jeans, leggings -- just learned this term in NY, ha!) for a more casual look. Plus it's totally affordable! When the weather gets more chilly wear a long sleeve shirt with color to make it pop like this yellow one shown here. Looove this look! To find out more, click on over to our friends at Coquette!

Coquette Goes To Fashion Week!

Since last Wednesday, I've gotten a little glimpse of life as a fashion editor in NY. Here's me at the tents before my first in-person fashion show, Ports 1961. I'm wearing a fitted Max Studio black dress I got from Bloomingdale's, black DKNY tights, Elizabeth and James pumps (wrote about those here), Marc Jacobs handbag, and a leather trench coat I got from The Limited 9 years ago. Before I dive in, a huge thank you to everyone at Coach for making the trip possible for me in the first place. It's going to take me another day to get my photos organized and uploaded so here's a few highlights of my trip. Click here to see more of Coquette's fabulous fashion adventures in New York City!
