The Latest Medi-Spa Skincare Technology- In Your Pajamas!

The fountain of youth is even closer than before... and now, you don't even have to leave your house in your quest. The hottest at-home skincare device is the Marvel Mini, by Ageless Beauty, and it harnesses the power of light to deliver results for a mild price tag in comparison to spa and dermatologist treatments. But the biggest question on everyone's mind is... does it really work? Curiosity got the best of me. I wasn't willing to withstand the pain or down-time of in-office treatments such as Titan or Thermage- and I didn't really think that my skin was looking like it needed something THAT drastic, either. A little kick-start perhaps? Click READ MORE to hear about my Marvel Mini experience!

Color Queue: Go on a Blue Streak!

I already know what you're thinking... blue eyeshadow is so seventies, right? Cheap, not chic? Well read on, because blue is here to stay and there is most definitely a blue eyeshadow, eyeliner or mascara for you!

This season, blue eye makeup was a staple on the runways, practically becoming the new black for many makeup artists, who often used deep indigo eyeliner in lieu of harsher blacks. The result? A softer, more mysterious appeal... which puts your eyes front and center without making them appear overdone. Models at Zac Posen, Tommy Hilfiger and Narisco Rodriguez all sported variations of this look and made it work magnificently with nude, matte red and rosebud pink lips. It's rumored that wearing a blue eyeliner also makes tired and red eyes look brighter, whiter and more awake. Trust me... it's true! Kate Hudson and Katie Holmes were recently spotted wearing this trend on their lower lash-lines.

Color Queue: Passionate Purple Eyes

If you have not yet fallen for the dazzling array of vivid clothing, shoes, bags, belts and sunglasses that are deleriously prevalent this season, the color purple may be what final drags you in. Not the movie, girls... the color! In all of it's seductive mysteriousness, moodiness and glamorous flair. There is a perfect purple for each and every one of you, and this purple belongs however you dare to apply it€“ whether in a dreamy wash of color, a romantic smoky smudge, or a bold streak€“ on your eyelids.

Shades of purple, violet and aubergine reigned supreme on the runways at Thakoon, Behnaz Sarafpour, Bottega Veneta, Christian LaCroix, and Valentino- the most dramatic look (and one of my favorites) being the stark ultraviolet halos worn by blue-eyed model Siri Tollerød, at Behnaz Sarafpour. Sephora.com features a similar look as part of their homage to brightly colored makeup this season. According to Jerrod Blandino, celebrity makeup artist and creator of Too Faced Cosmetics, "Purple shadows make blue eyes look bluer, green eyes look more brilliant, and brown eyes look lighter. This season's purples sizzle with iridescent pigments that add a sexy and futuristic metallic edge."

Danger: Yellow Eyeshadow Ahead!

Shockingly bright hues of yellow have dominated this season€“ on the runway, in fashion magazines and in saves here on Stylehive. We just can't seem to get enough of this basic, cheerful color, and it's even shown up in one of the most intimidating places for it to be worn... on the eyes.

Most women have never worn yellow eyeshadow and they possibly never will. Yellow is the color of daffodils, buttercups, primroses, canaries and butterflies. It also has the distinction of being the color of taxi cabs, school buses, raincoats, bumble bees and "danger" signs. For those of you willing to venture into bolder, slightly more treacherous territory... a sunny outlook on the eyes can brighten your baby blues, give you a gilded glow or just make a distinct statement!

Beauty Tip: Blush A Little Bit More This Spring!

Women in ancient Greece colored their cheeks with crushed mulberries and red beet juice to make them appear more youthful, while ladies of Great Britain's Victorian Age resorted to pinching theirs. Thankfully, today we have a plethora of much more convenient ways to give our cheeks a youthful bloom of color... and this spring, there's no better way to do that than with a vivid, clear and bright pink, coral or red! There's no need to fear "clown cheeks" because with a light hand and the correct application method, you can give yourself a fresh and innocent glow in just a few easy steps.

Not Your Mother's Henna! Color Your Hair The Natural Way

Henna is synonymous with a healthy hair and scalp. And being extremely messy. And smelly. And time consuming. Here are just a few henna basics, in case you missed out on the henna rage in the seventies (I was just a girl as I sat and watched my mother smear henna paste on her head and then wrap it up in plastic wrap!). Henna is a rich natural dye derived from the dried leaves of the Lawsonia shrub. It is a chemical-free, temporary hair coloring method. It is also safe for use during pregnancy, and covers gray hair. Now read on for everything new in the henna world - and check out the slideshow for great henna products in the Hive!

Out With The Red, In With The Pink!

Spring's strong lip isn't a quintessential shade of red. It's a sweet shade of pink.

And just about any pink fits the bill. Cotton candy, ripe raspberry, pink zinfandel, lush bouganvillea or frosted fuschia.

Pink is one of those glorious colors that boasts a broad range of tones and saturation, so there is truly something for everyone. Given this, there is simply no excuse for not giving pink lips a chance this Spring... which is right now!

Hot Trend: Matching Your Eyeshadow To Your Clothes

Rules, rules, rules! Never wear blue eyeshadow, never match your eyeshadow to your eye color, and most importantly... never match your eyeshadow to your clothing. Enough already! These days, rules are made to be broken. Store shelves and online beauty destinations are lined with hundreds of colors, representing the entire chromatic spectrum. Neutral browns, buffs, taupes and fawns needn't be the only shades you liven your lids with. The new rule of thumb is if you're wearing a color that looks great on you, then you can wear it on your eyes as well.
