Beauty Buzz: The Latest Offerings From Tarte

Tarte is by far one of the best beauty brands out there. I adore tarte for many reasons including the silky smooth texture of their products, the vibrant hip colors and also the fabulous staying power. Here are our new favorite products for the summer.


Tarte Lip Couture t5 super fruit infused lipstick set
This is a fabulous lipstick kit that allows you to pair the perfect pout for every makeup look you choose to do. The kit comes with a nude lip liner and four fabulous shades. My favorite shade is called Eden, a beautiful beige that completes my smokey eye look. I also find the box it comes in to be ultra luxe. After the lipsticks finish, use it to keep your jewelry in during your next trip to Cannes.


Spring Greening limited-edition reusable straw palette
A great palette that offers six vibrant eyeshadows, three vivacious t5 infused lipglosses and a bamboo eyeshadow brush. My favorite part of this palette has to be the eyeshadows. They are finely milled and go on amazingly smooth. I use the gold shadow almost daily it's just so gorgeous paired with black liner and Dior Show mascara.

What to buy: Fall in love with jewelry from Pointe Vecchio, a bridge famous for its architecture and hanging shops. There are a variety of different styles and a reasonable range of prices. Bellini is a charming jewelry shop named after my favorite cocktail (a bellini consists of Italian Prosecco wine and peach juice). Here you will find statement pieces made out of silver and gold. Dainty Florentine Fleur-de-Lis earrings are an ideal gift. A little luxury goes a long way.


Florence is the leather capital of Italy. Great deals on leather goods can be found everywhere. Walk around a couple shops and browse through prices before making a purchase.

Real Women Have Curves: Style Tips For Hourglass Women

As a leading personal stylist in London, I have clients from all over the world,my clientele is mainly upmarket women. Are these women size zero? Absolutely not. The most common body shape is hourglass and whatever their size my hourglass clients complain that fashion does not suit them. They are right. I am a UK size 8- US size 6, I have not bought a pair of trousers for 6 years, many of my clients are the same. This is not a size thing but a shape thing. I have curves. Is fashion missing a trick? I refuse to wear hipster trousers. In fact, I refuse to wear anything that does not suit me. If you have a waist, hipster trousers cut in at the wrong part of your body and however slim you are the result is a roll of flesh. Elegant? I think not. Hipster skirts ride up and down as the hourglass has no defining flat area, so tops hang out and you are left with about 6 inches of spare material at the back, as the "too big top will end up on the waist. This makes the skirt unflattering, at best and it looks like you are wearing someone else's clothes.
