Beauty trends change about as often as I change shoes (which is to say - too often). Luckily, we have Saks Fifth Avenue to keep us on point! This seasons trend - The Polished Face. It's all about being perfectly put together - and Saks Polished Face Kit has got just about everything you need to recreate the looks we've seen on the Fall 2008 runways, including Nars The Multiple in Copacabana, an all-in-one, multi-purpose cream-to-powder makeup stick that highlights, sculpts and warms eyes, cheeks, lips and body.
The Polished Face Kit features a collection of beauty items from top brands, all in an exclusive Marc Jacobs Italian Leather clutch- and retails for $198 in all Saks stores and at Saks.com

I think the Nars Polished Face collection would work best with the return to classic, ladylike sophistication that will be happening this Fall. It would flatter the Mad Men-esque looks if I didn't want to go all out with retro inspired makeup, or would compliment tailored silhouettes with Fall colors.

Structure is offset by soft, frothy shapes; sharp and polished lines contrast with flowing and soft. Neutral makeup with a precise lip fits right in with the trends and with classic vintage clothing that never goes out of style.

I'd rock the Nars Polished Face collection with THE classic fashion trend around - Black slim pants, tall leather boots and a classic black silk blouse. This monochrome fashion look will be a great palette against this face collection

The Hollywood Glam Retro look is back with a contemporary twist. The common thread... women looking feminine, women looking natural, and women showing off their best attributes ... eyes, lips and hair. This makeup would look great with any style as long as it suits the woman's style.

to compliment the polished face, i would definately go with big, bold floral prints. Staying away from the popular architectural, structured theme most clothes have this season, florals, whether it be in a dress or shirt, will really bring attention to your face; the contrast really does well and makes you more noticeable.

The runway showcased a lot of edgy silhouettes and some an almost soft bondage theme like Narciso Rodriguez's spring/summer '09 collection. I would do a dramatic black and white color-scheme, leather leggings, ankle boots, and to downplay the roughness a ruffle blouse. I would do a polished face with an emphasis on bronzey-nude eyes, glowy cheeks and lightly stained lips by using the lipstick to pat on the lipstick. I would do nails in one of Nars gorgeous deep garnet shades.

We all know the best accessory for the Polished Face look is a birthday suit! Unfortunately, the law may not agree ; ) in which case, I would opt for a sweet, feminine, and flirty mini-dress paired with ankle boots and a smile.

Darlings, here is how I see myself this fall rocking the polished face. I'm wearing a vintage couture sweater coat with ankle boots and my favorite skinny jeans, shades and a bold necklace on top at the neck of the coat for day. Just a few wardrobe adjustments, and a smokier eye and my night is set. A bolder piece at my wrist/neck, a simple, but beautiful dress, and a shot of purple at my foot. To go with my polished evening look!

There are many fall trends out, Then their are areas in are life That should become a permeate "trend" that become a life change, To me it is not the clothes we ware, It is looking inward to see the Life Lesson that we have learned it the past year, No matter what your situation is and thee many people struggling out there right now, If we Choose to look at the positive and concentrate on things that can not be replaced, For example if Someone spills something on your favorite dress. Don't be worried for that can be replaced. However you can not buy a new face,Invest in items that will help you keep your Face Healthy , I recommend Polished Face Collection,by Nars, When our Face is Polished some how it show the world that You are a strong Polished Women on the inside and out. That is a trend that will never go out of style.|-D Beautiful

best thing about The Polished Face collection is that it rocks ALL the looks--this is important for me because living/working in the southeast, there is a conservative component at work events, but also wroking in a creative environment (and not being conservative myself) i like to funk it up too...and then traveling a loot, allows for play with style too. So what trend would I rock with The Polished Face? Feminine, classic, naturelle, elegant, megahip...They are all part of the trend, this season and always.

It seems everyone's talking about plaid for Fall 08 ... and I think The Polished Face from Nars and Saks would definitely complement a number of plaid scenarios (not the in-your-face Tartain plaids, but plaids in more subdued shades like rose, charcoal, mauve, etc.), especially those ensembles that include metal accents that would bring out a shimmer that can make a fresh look.

To compliment the Nars Polished Look I would pair it with Fall'08 fashion trend from G&G ready-to-Wear collection. Since the D&G collection already has enough print, plaids, and folksy look I want the makeup to be more simple & polished. The only way to acheive that is with the Nars Polished Collection. Bijoux!

Fall 2008 hottest look is the gender bending mannish vest with trousers and the sexy silky bow blouse. The contrast between the two styles brings excitement and visual interest and this great Nars polished face collection will set off this look perfectly. The darker shades wil accent the tweedy fabrics and cause the lighter silky fabrics to really pop out. The overall look will be updated retro which is the most fabulous fashion for fall!

NARS Polished Face look can easily transition from day to night, making the lucky woman feel confident, sexy and at ease. This makeup collection complements most skin tones, and will be a great partner with many of Fall's fashion trends. From the 1920's inspired flapper looks of Diane Von Furstenberg and Monique Lhullier, to the plaid looks seen at Charlotte Ronson and Thakoon, and particularly the neo-conservative throwback looks displayed at Michael Kors and Peter Som. In short, the Polished Face is a versatile and sophisticated palette for any woman.

I'd use the Polished Face Look to compliment so many of the Fall trends that are calling to me... Gray, plaid pencil skirt, silk bow-tie blouse and a pastel coat...so hot this season. Marc Jacobs has some lovely pastel coats I love. Add some retro boots to jazz things up, or oxford pumps and a great satchel or clutch in an unexpected color or texture...maybe something with some heavy metal. It gets cold early here in Maine, so when out and about, it's all about one's coat and accessories. It's all anyone sees for months! Also, jeans, slouch boots, the bed head look and a bohemian top. Add a boxy jacket, a great bag..Coach Madeline? and the polished face and your all set!

I'm thinking the perfect balance of soft and structured: opaque, black tights with patent leather booties underneath a vintage lace slip in cream (currently being used as a dress); topped with a racerback vest in charcoal grey; and antique inspired jewelry (like a pewter engraved necklace with emerald colored crystals and pearl drops). Flawlessly put together.

The Polished look would be a nie contrast to Alexander Wang's Fall Collection. TREND: Embrace Flaws "I am drawn to anything slightly flawed, scratched, scuffed, ripped, torn or dirty; embracing the flaws for both day and night. For Fall 2008's eveningwear, I drew inspiration from bad boys, rebels and graffiti artists." http://www.eccodomani.com/fashion-foundation/fashion-designers/alexander-wang.asp The neutral and studied unpolished nonplussed style of his line this years would be a curious contrast to the refined and polished finish of Nars fall line. The light pinks and reds go well with the neutral and greys and black neo noir independent female stlye.
