Dear Stylehive Bagistas: I€™m so excited to begin sharing my weekly bag-a-licious picks with you. I€™m the founder and Bag Guru behind BagTrends.com and the handbag trend forecaster for the World Shoe Association. I report on handbag scoop for AOL and have been spotted on HSN and VH1 dishing on what€™s hot in the handbag world. So, read my scoop and tell me what you think. I love chatting up with other bag-a-holics and fashion divas! Now, to this weeks pick! After spending the past few days in Vegas attending the World Shoe Association show to preview fall/winter 2008/2009 accessories, I€™m on bag overload. This makes me even more excited about one of my favorite bags for the spring because it€™s a style and color that I know will be just as divine and on-trend once the days get shorter and the hot sun gives way to falling leaves. So, what am I lusting after? It€™s the Anya Hindmarch Shoulder Bag in a grey calf leather body with a silver base. First, grey is an important color for spring, as it was a big color for this past fall. Here it€™s a dusty, light grey that€™s spring-friendly and will work nicely with all the ethereal chiffon and soft floral prints you€™ll be sporting. Next, I love the mirrored silver base for that little bit of daytime glamour. And while I€™m not partial to the loose, hobo shape, by giving this bag a sturdy base the designer has given us that semi-structured feeling that marries both the casual with the classy. I just love a good, structured bag. It speaks to my inner Grace Kelly. Overall, this is another winner from Anya Hindmarch and I can€™t wait to see what she€™ll give us for fall. Well, I already know, but I can€™t wait to share it in the coming months with all of you. Have a bag-a-licious day!Pamela Pekerman is the founder/editor of bagtrends.com.
