The opening of the Sex and The City movie is tomorrow (unless you got in last night's premiere), and I can hardly contain my excitement. I don€™t care if Carrie marries Mr. Big, if Steve cheats on Miranda, or if Samantha stays with Smith. Just show me the bags! Naturally, I€™ve been privy to many of the styles that will be appearing in the movie. I can€™t even tell you how crazy my PR friends have been working leading up to this movie release. But, I digress.
One of the big trends that will emerge €“ or rather solidify, as it has already been a well documentde trend for the past few months€“ is clutches. Big, small, oversized, folded over, with feathers, in patent, drenched in crystals, elongated, bright, you name it and our free-spirited protagonist Carrie Bradshaw will be sporting it. The Fendi Logo Clutch ($1,490) in orange patent is one of her boldest choices and only she could pull it of with an orange floral dress (puff and all) and zebra print shoes! This is the perfect summer clutch in the best color. But of course if you want to achieve that look for less, I recommend the Tory Burch Resin Clutch (you can even rent it for the month for $36!) or check out a less boxy, but still very tangerine Stuart Weitzman pleated pouch-- it's just $98.
