Ask a Supermodel: What Does It REALLY Take To Make It as a Model (Besides Being Tall and Skinny)?

There are a lot of models out there, but very few are able to remain a constant presence in this ever-changing industry. Why? Because believe it or not, to make it as a model, you need a whole lot more than a pretty face and killer bod- a valuable lesson the show Make Me A Supermodel has drummed into our heads. Niki Taylor has persevered in the face of the fickle modeling world and you guys wanted to know what qualities she thinks a truly great model needs in order to make it. We asked and she answered.

Stylehive: What qualities does someone need to really make it as a model?
Niki: They need to be a good chameleon, they need to be able to adapt to whatever the client or photographer wants, be a good listener. And you know, the product has to look good on you- you gotta be a people person. You have to be okay with rejection. You need tough skin, like Cory Batista always says on the show. You can't be weak, you've gotta be a fighter and be a survivor.

Watch the finale of Make Me a Supermodel Thursday, April 3 at 10PM EST on Bravo!
