On American Idol, we learned a valuable lesson: voters can€™t always be trusted to make the right decisions (case in point: Sanjaya!). However, this didn€™t stop the creators of the hit show Make Me A Supermodel from placing the fate of 14 aspiring models in our fickle hands. I€™ll admit I was sometimes shocked by the results- as were the contestants who got the boot! All you hivers also had your doubts and wanted to know what host Niki Taylor thought about America's voting skills.
Stylehive: A lot of the contestants have said they were confused as to why they got voted off. Do you think America was making the right choices and voting off the right people?Niki:Yeah, I mean it is a popularity contest and I can say that because we talk about it all the time and I also talk about it with the producers. Unfortunately, we're in the business of 'it's all about what you look like' and how you photograph, and how you wear clothes or products and each week was a different challenge for them, but I think the audience at home kind of- either they listened to the judges or they listened to the panel and they listened to us, or they already liked somebody's personality or didn't like somebody's personality. But I mean America's smart and they know what they like and I think every week they made the right decision.Watch the finale of Make Me a Supermodel Thursday, April 3 at 10PM EST on Bravo!
