America's Next Top Model Cycle 12: Pre-Premiere Top 3 Predictions & Snap Judgments - Stylehive

Just in case you live under a rock, haven't been counting down the days as excitedly as I have, or quite frankly just stopped trying to keep tabs 8 seasons ago, America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 premieres tonight at 8pm! I don't know about all you hivers, but ever since MTV started varying their usual Date My Mom and Parental Control afternoon programming by playing weekend-long marathons of ANTM (Cycles 2 and up, of course -- apparently they like to pretend that the first season never existed), I've been hooked on the show. From the house drama and couture clothing to their glamorous abroad getaways and fierce photo shoots, each episode is always entertaining from start to finish. You never know what kind of crazy ideas the producers will come up with to keep things fresh (what was up with Tyra's fairy godmother costume and unidentifiable accent on makeover day last season?), which underdog contestant will take judge Paulina Porizkova's snappy advice seriously and come out on top of the pile, what flamboyant clown-like accessories Miss J. Alexander will sport on judging day to pay homage to the eliminated contestants, or how many misplaced shameless plugs Tyra will throw into the conversation at any given moment (ie: "This photo of you is so high-fashion -- Have I mentioned that I was on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice?") ...Plus, if Ms. Banks' antics aren't entertaining enough for you, fellow long-standing judge Nigel Barker isn't too hard on the eyes either! Despite every season's surprises, however, I am determined to go out on a limb and attempt to do something so unthinkable at this stage in the season -- predict Cycle 12's Top 3 contestants before it even begins! After all, I've been having some Top Model withdrawals, and with the 13 contestants' bios already up on the show's official website, I couldn't prevent myself from doing a little pre-season sizing up. Top Model Top 3 Predictions
-FO: The world of fashion modeling seems to love ethnic ambiguity, and with a face like that and a name like Fo, the 19-year-old New Mexico native already gives off an alluring air of mystery that's bound to keep the judges intrigued for awhile. That is, as long as the rest of her photographs turn out as fab as this one!
-AMINAT: Who knows what they'll do to her au natural fro she's rockin' in one of her promotional pics come makeover day, but this 21-year-old contestant comes off like the type who can look haute with any hairdo. While the poise and pride she oozes in her portfolio could also possibly translate into intimidating cattiness in the house, but if she's anything like Cycle 8's Renee, the house meanie could easily end up ruling the roost and landing in the top 3!
-JESSICA: Hailing from Puerto Rico, this 18-year-old student seems to have that Jaslene-like Latin sass at first glance. Only time will tell whether that kind of confidence will help her seal a similar fate or simply serve up a recipe for disaster, but with one of the fiercest promotional photos of the bunch, I'm willing to put the odds in her favor! Then again, we haven't seen her walk yet.
