For Christmas, give me something with a past, a little intrigue, and some history! No, I don't mean a novel. I want something vintage, where each piece has it's own little hidden story.
I like to think my vintage Halston dress had a long life before me. Maybe it was worn by someone really interesting, like the true desperate housewives of the 1950s, before there were microwaves or TiVo. And I'm convinced that my 1965 Chanel watch graced the arm of someone truly fab... maybe it saw Andy Warhol at Studio 64, or came from one of Courtney Love's yardsales!Mix in real vintage into a vintage-inspired wardrobe, like dresses by Samantha Pleet, or a Claudia Schultz hat. See the SLIDESHOW for my fave finds.
