Okay, I'll say it...I'm sooo tired of my summer clothes! But, it's still way too hot to transition to fall. So, here I am, lusting after boots, sweaters and anything else with long sleeves, while I stand in my closet trying to figure out which summer top I can stand to put on one more time. To my delight, many of my favorite eco fashion designers are rolling out their fall collections slowly, but surely into the stores...and they're fabulous! But, I still can't bring myself to shop for fall yet because...it's still just too hot. I'm sure you can relate.
So, for now, we'll just call it getting prepared. In that spirit, here are 10 of my favorite eco friendly fall basics for all us working girls. You know...the pencil skirt, crisp blouse, classic organic cotton turtleneck and must have accessories to make the outfit pop! Click on the SLIDESHOW to shop them all. She left her career as Executive Vice President of a large computer distribution company several years ago to follow her passion into fashion product marketing and helped to launch and market a high end handbag collection that was sold at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, and two jewelry collections, the latter of which led her into the eco fashion world where she's never been happier. "I'm on the pulse of this quickly emerging fashion power and I've watched it grow from hemp socks and organic tees into some very high style collections," she says. "I can't wait to see it evolve even more, so that we no longer differentiate between fashion and eco fashion. It just all becomes fashion." Click here to follow Carrie in the Hive now!
